Swiss Space Roadshow

After last year's success with more than 400 participants in the audience and more than 40 academic and industrial guests at the different panel discussions, we will continue with the Swiss Space Roadshow also in 2017.  




Start overview presentations from SSC (C. Röösli) and SSO (K. Brocard), ESA (T. Bieler ESTEC, L. Becker HQ Paris), local industry (O. Sacchet, IST AG) and M. Righi (ZHAW School of Engineering).
18:30 Panel discussion with local industry and research:

19:15 Networking Apero

We will again have ESA as a guest, as well as invite local universities and local industry players active in space business to show you how to launch your space career. The interactive evening includes aproximately one hour of presentation followed by a panel discussion, where you can ask your questions. The event will be followed by a networking apero to answer and discuss the remaining questions and make first contacts.  

The Swiss Space Center's objection as organiser is to promoted career opportunities at ESA and in the local space sector by presenting ESA's, local space industries' and academic activities to young professionals as well as to students from Swiss universities, federal institutes, universities of applies sciences.
One of the backgrounds for initating the roadshow is that over the coming years, ESA is expecting to recruit a number of young professionals in the areas of:

·       Management
·       Engineering
·       Science
·       Management support
·       Administrative and technical services
